"Intensely Orange" received a Special Merit Award in an international Figurative 2016 Online Art Exhibition held by the Online Gallery Light Space & Time. This competition was international and had over 600 entries.

“The art which was selected for this category is art that could have been placed in the top tier of the entries selected for the various media categories. The only reason that this art was not selected for the top tier was due to the size constraints of this particular competition. Otherwise, the Special Merit art, in many cases is interchangeable the best art that was selected.”  John A Math
