I was ask to help work on an Artist Cookbook project with a group of fabulous artists for Arts on the Credit. So I put on my Graphic Design Hat every ounce of creative effort into this brilliant 72 page book called Art Bites. Happy to announce that it went to press this morning.

This cookbook was designed as a quirky, eclectic collection of recipes celebrating the many local creative Canadian talents. Spring and Mother’s day is around the corner. It will make a distinctive gift for anyone whether they are an experienced cook recipe challenged.

It is uniquely sized as a wire bound 8” x 8” book with a that fits perfectly on a kitchen counter and easily remain open on the desired spread. Satin paper specifically selected adds a classy touch with an additional practical feature in mind. Realistically some of us can’t resist writing notes on to the recipe pages. Not only is this book stunning, but carries functionality with the heart of a coffee table book. The anecdotes are a short personal glimpse into the artist lives – touching, funny; and an interesting read that add an additional depth into the thought process of an artist.

YES.... There is a book launch at Artworld Fine Art Gallery on March 22nd and and will be on sale at Arts on the Credit in April. All sales go to Arts on the Credit, a creative organization that has given to the artistic community for many years. Was my turn to give back and I'm thrilled about it.
